Cookie Policy
This policy explains what cookies are, which types we use on our website, and how you can control them at any time.
Last updated: 20261. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They help the site work correctly, remember some of your preferences and measure its performance. Alongside them we use local browser storage such as localStorage to keep simple preferences on your device without sending them to our servers.
2. Types we use
a. Essential
Required for the site to operate securely and cannot be disabled from within the site. They include saving your choice about the cookie notice itself and the language you selected.
- athmar_cookie_choice — stores your acceptance or refusal of non-essential cookies. Kept locally in your browser.
- athmar_lang — stores your language preference (Arabic or English). Kept locally in your browser.
- athmar_portal — an essential session cookie for account portal sign-in and form protection. It contains a session identifier, not your password. Sign-in expires after 30 minutes of inactivity or 12 hours after login, or when you sign out.
b. Preference
Store display choices that improve your experience when you return to the site, such as the state of certain interactive elements. They are not used to track you across other websites.
c. Measurement and analytics
We may use analytics tools to measure visit numbers, most-viewed pages and traffic sources in order to improve content and performance. This data is collected in aggregate, is not used to identify you personally, and is only activated after your consent.
d. Third-party cookies
Some elements are loaded from external services — such as web fonts from Google Fonts and the map from OpenStreetMap — and those providers may set their own cookies under their own policies. We do not control those cookies.
3. Why we use them
- To operate the site correctly and securely.
- To remember your language preference and your cookie choice.
- To understand how visitors use the site so we can improve content and experience.
- To measure the effectiveness of our services and packages pages.
We do not use cookies to sell your data or share it with advertisers.
4. How to control them
- From within the site: through the cookie notice shown on your first visit, where you can choose "Essential only" or "Accept".
- From your browser: all modern browsers allow you to delete or block cookies, usually under Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and site data.
- To reset your earlier choice: clear this site's data from your browser and the notice will appear again.
Please note that blocking all cookies — including essential ones — may affect some site functions such as saving your language preference.
5. Retention
- Session cookies: deleted automatically when the browser is closed.
- Preference and choice storage: remains until you clear it manually from your browser.
- Analytics cookies: according to the tool's own policy, typically no more than 24 months.
6. Updates
We may update this policy when the tools used on the site change. The updated version is published on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
7. Contact
